The Brighton View Camera was manufactured by G. Gennert from 1896 to approximately 1903. It as constructed of polished mahogany with brass hardware and black fabric bellows. Features included a front focus with rack and pinion double gearing, double swing, a removable and reversible ground glass plate holder back to easily convert between horizontal or vertical images, a unique lens board, rear push-pull focus. The Brighton was available in many sizes including 5 x 7, 5 x 8, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2, 8 x 10, 11 x 14, 14 x 17.
