The Sunlight Camera was manufactured by Lord & Company of 487 Broadway, New York in circa 1898-99. A simple box camera featuring a good lens with an instantaneous and time shutter. It was capable of capturing 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch exposures on glass plates. It camera was able to carry two extra holders inside the box. It came with a tripod socket for stand photos. The Sunlight Camera was originally priced at $3.50.
Lord & Co. also made a Sunlight Junior camera for taking 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch exposures on glass plates. The Sunlight Junior camera was priced at $2.00.
