Telephoto Cycle Poco C by Rochester Camera Mfg. Co.

The TelePhoto Cycle Poco C was manufactured circa 1891 by the Rochester Camera manufacturing Co. in Rochester, NY. This camera was designed for use with many lenses of varying focus, an extra long draw on the bellows accommodates the triple extension bed. A double rack and pinion accurately moves the three piece bed. The camera is constructed of solid mahogany wood, dovetailed and highly polished, and covered in the elephant grain black leather, with leather handle. A high quality red Russian leather bellows, embossed and gossamer cloth lined with rings. The metal work is polished and lacquered brass. Rising and falling front with swing and removable lens board. A reversible and removable spring actuated plate holder. A planatograph lens in auto shutter with finger and pneumatic trigger. Two tripod sockets. It was available in multiple sizes including 4 x 5; 5 x 7; 6 1/2 x 8 1/2; and 8 x 10.
