The original Pocket Poco was manufactured by the Rochester Camera Mfg. Co from approximately 1893 to 1905. Designed as a small compact camera. The camera took 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 (quarter plate) size images. Constructed of mahogany wood covered in seal grain leather, Red bellows and nickel plated hardware. The camera came with a Poco rapid rectilinear double combination lens with iris diaphragm and automatic shutter. It also came with a combined view finder and level. Later models of the same design, the Pocket Poco B also was available in the 4 x 5 plate size.
