Th Favorite View Camera was originally manufactured by Rochester Camera Mfg. Co. from approximately 1895 to 1902. Constructed of polished mahogany body with a cherry base for strength. The hardware consisted of lacquered and polished brass with black fabric bellows. Manual rear focus adjustment with single swing and removable back. Spring actuated plate holder, ground glass for focusing. This model came in every size starting at 5 x 7; 6 1/2 x 8 1/2; 8 x 10; 11 x 14; 14 x 17.
