The Nomar camera was manufactured in circa 1930 by an unidentified American manufacturer. It was a unique snap-shot box camera made of sheet metal and finished with a smooth or crackle finish. It was reported that this camera was made in several colors, however only black colored models has been found. The Nomar featured a instantaneous and time shutter and fixed lens. The camera was capable of capturing 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inch sized exposures on standard no. 127 roll film. The unique design and shape of the shutter along with the art deco lettering make the Nomar camera stand out.
