  Soho Tuon

The Soho Tuon Camera was manufactured in circa 1933 by the Kershaw Mfg. co and sold through the Soho Ltd. company of London, England. This folding roll-film camera was capable of capturing sixteen 2 1/4 x 1 5/8 inch sized exposures on standard no. 120 film. Typically the standard no. 120 roll film would provide only eight exposures sized 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch (6x9 cm) inchs, but the Tuon reduced the image size in half to allow for more exposures. It was constructed of black Bakelite, described as Synthetic molded material, impervious to heat, cold or damp. Other features included a reversible view finder, time and instantaneous shutter and a fix focus single meniscus lens. Priced at 1 pound and 5 shillings. Also available with a Kershaw Anastigmat lens.
