The Soho Studion No. 2 was manufactured by Kershaw Mfg. of Leeds in circa 1935. The camera was sold through Soho Ltd of London. Designed for good appearance and hard wearing during extensive use. Providing all the needed movements required for general studio work. The camera was made of Honduras Mahogany and the bellows was made of leather. The camera featured rear focusing adjsutment enabled by rack and pinion movement with large double milled heads each side of the rack. The back featured vertical and horizontal swing with a sliding focusing screen and safety stop. It was made in two models, a No. 1 and No. 2. The No. 1 was 9 inches square for whole plate exposures with an extension of 22 inches. The No. 1 was priced at £10 10s 0d. The No. 2 was 12 inches square for 12 x 10 inch sized exposures with an extension of 28 inches. The No. 2 was priced at £18 10s 0d. ( no. 2 shown)
