  ACRO Model R

The ACRO Model R candid camera was described in advertising as a simple and economical precision camera. It was fitted wtih a corrected astigmatic lens mounted in a shutter providing exposure speeds from 1/25 to 1/200th of a second with Bulb and Time. It also provided a a telescoping helix focusing mount to provide accurate definition from three feet to infinity. The camera featured a built-in-rangefinder, built-in-exposure meter and a built-in iris diaphragm providing F stops from F3.5 to f18. It captured 16 exposures on Eastman no. 127 or Agfa A8 roll film. The ACRO Model R sold for $15.00 for the version providing the f4.5 lens and $18.00 for the f3.5 version.
