The Improved Kinnear camera was manufactured in approximately 1864 to 1868 by T. Ottewell Collis & Co. It was based on an 1857 design by the Scottish photographer C.G.H. Kinnear. The camera featured a compact folding design and tapered bellows allowing for its dis-assembly, such that it could be stored inside the rear standard. Like Ottewell's Wet Plate collapsing camera this camera was very portable for the time. It featured a top loading design with a reversible back and a red Kinnear bellows. See Rob Niederman's site AntiqueWoodCameras.com for more info.
