The Beacon One Twenty-Seven Camera was manufactured by Whitehouse Products Inc., of Brooklyn New York fin circa 1959.The Beacon II was an inexpensive snap-shot camera made of plastic bakelite with a built-in view finder. It was capable of capturing sixteen 4 x 4 cm exposures on number 127 roll film. It was fitted with an optically ground 46mm Whitmar lens that was coated and color corrected. The camera had a simple shutter providing a single instantaneous speed of approximately 1/50 and also time setting. It featured two aperture settings for color or black and white pictures.
