The Coronet Rapier Camera was manufactured by the Coronet Camera Company in circa 1959. It was made of black bakelite plastic with a built-in optical view finder. Two models were produced including a Mark I and II. The first model was similar to the 6x6 model and the later model similar to the 4x4 Mark II design. The Rapier model I featured a fixed focus meniscus lens, a simple single speed shutter, and a lever to switch between black & white or color film. the mark two additionally featured flash synchronization for the Coro-flash flash gun and two shutter speeds 1/50 and 1/100.
