  Kodak Master View 4 x 5 Monorail Camera


The Kodak Master View 4 x 5 Monorail Professional Camera was manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co. in circa 1955. It provided unlimited flexibility and adjustment control over perspective, linear rendering, field of depth view point and image size. It was made in a 4 x 5 inch format. This was an all metal camera. The back and front frames were made of one-piece cast of stain finish aluminum, rigid and lightweight. The main back and front supports were aluminum castings with polished steel uprights. A 19 inch monorail tack was made of machined steel. A sturdy grey extra long leather bellows was durable. It featured lateral and longitudinal levels, All the adjustments were independent and lock securely. A ground glass focusing panel is built into the back for quick action, which accepted a 4 x 5 sheet film holder or a film pack for smaller sizes. originally priced at $225.00
