The Baby Brownie Special Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1939 to 1954. Constructed of glossy black molded bakelite, with art deco styling. This box camera took 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on 127 film. The special featured a built-in optical view finder, an improved access fro film reloading and a carry handle. Included a fixed focus, meniscus lens and rotary shutter for instantaneous exposures only. Priced at only $2.75 in 1939.
