The Regent camera was manufactured by Kodak A.G, in Stuttgart, Germany from 1935 to 1939. The Regent was a well crafted and heavy camera with a smooth art deco styling. It was capable of capturing either 6 x 9 cm or 4.5 x 6 cm exposures on number 620 film. The Regent featured a coupled rangefinder designed into the top of the camera. It was fitted with a Schneider-Xenar f3.8 or f4.5 lens and a CompurRapid or Compur-S shutter capable of speeds from one to 1/400th of a second including time and bulb. The camera when closed measures 6 1/2 x 1 5/8 x 3 7/8 inches in size.
