The Retina Automatic III, type 039 was manufactured from approximately 1961 to 1963. The Automatic III featured a coupled rangefinder. It was similar to the Automatic II. It was fitted with a Retina-Xenar f2.8 45mm lens and a Compur Automat shutter featured an automatic f-stop as well as manual.
