The Vito BL 35mm camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohn A.G. in circa 1956. Constructed of all metal with leather covering for the grip. It was fitted with a coated four-element Color-Skopar 50mm f2.8 lens and mounted in a Prontor-SVS shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/300th of a second. This model featured a larger optical bright-frame uncoupled selenium meter, winding lever, automatic double interlock preventing double exposures or blank frames, a built-in film indicator in the rewind knob that pos it out when rewind is needed, speed synchronization for all types of flash, and a self timer.
