The Ultramatic CS camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohn A.G. beginning in 1964. The Ultramatic CS was one of the first 35mm leaf shutter SLR cameras with TTL metering. It was designed by Walter Swarofsky. The Ultramatic CS replaced the original Ultramatic and was made with Cds meter cells. Features included the aperature and speed setting were visible in the finder, shutter speed and aperature were controlled by rings on the bayonet. It was fitted with a Septon f2 50mm or a a Color-Skopar f2.8 50mm lens in a special synchro-compur shutter, capable of speeds from 1 to 1/500 of a second.
