The Ultramatic Camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohn from approximately 1961 - 1964. The Ultramatic was a well made SLR that featured a selenium meter located in the center front of the camera. Other features included the aperature and speed setting visible in the finder, a leaf shutter with instant return mirror. Fitted with a Color-Skopar f2.8 50mm lens in a special synchro-compur shutter, capable os speeds from 1 to 1/500 of a second. This camera was replaced in 1964 with the Ultramatic CS with improved Cds meter cells.
