The Superb Reflex Camera was manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohn A.G. from 1933 to approximately 1943. This was a high quality twin lens camera that took regular Browinie no. 2 or no. 117 film for 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch exposures. It was fitted with a Skopar f3.5 Anastigmat lens with a three inch focus and mounted in a compur shutter. This baroque designe camera features an automatic tilting finder that aligns with the film picture at all distances, a spirit level is mounted in the groudn glass, the shutter speed and diaphragm settings are visible from the above and changable without tilting the camera, and a special lever device changes film without winding. Priced in 1933 at $89.50.
