The Alpine Camera, postcard size was manufactured by the Voighlander Company from 1908 to 1926. It was constructed of light weight aluminum and fitted with a Voightlander lens in either a Koilos or compound shutter. Described as being suitable for use in tropical climates. The larger postcard size, 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, or 10 x 15 cm, was capable of being fitted for panoramic or stereoscopic work. The camera measured 7 1/8 x 4 3/8 x 2 1/4 inches.
