The Vidi Folding Camera was manufactured by the Sunart Photo Company from approximately 1893 to 1899. The Vidi was a well made camera constructed of mahogany and covered in seal grain leather with a red Russian leather bellows. It was capable of taking exposures on 4 x 5 inch plates. It was fitted with a Gundlach Optical lens and shutter. Features included rising and falling front, spring actuated ground glass, reversible finder. It was able to hold three double plates or the Eastman roll holder. It measured 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. Originally priced at $20.25 with one plate holder. Fitted with the Eastman roll holder it was priced at $29.25.
