Conley Folding Camera, Model XIV

datasheet_loginThe Conley Folding Camera, Model XIV was manufactured by the Conley Camera Company of Rochester, Minnesota from approximately 1900 to 1918. This camera was designed for artistic photos 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 size for all types of general photography. The camera was constructed of solid African mahogany wood with dovetailed and rounded corners and hand rubbed piano finish. It was covered in bear grain black genuine leather. The bellows are red Russian leather, gossamer lined with a capacity of 11 1/2 inches. All metal parts were made of brass with nickel plating and highly polished. The lens board is detachable and the lens provided was a high grade double rapid rectilinear and the shutter was a Conley Safety shutter with finger and pneumatic release. It utilized the Conley flexible valve plate holder, a reversible ground glass and mirror view finder. The front had adjustable rising and falling front, side swing and the front focus was rack and pinion. A double spirit level is also included.
