  Conley View Camera, Model B

The Model B. View Camera, was manufactured by the Conley Camera Company of Rochester, Minnesota from approximately 1911 - 1917. The B. W. model is also believed to be the same camera advertised under different names including the No. 2 Conley View Camera, the New York View Camera and the Queen City View Camera.

It was designed to be less expensive view camera embodying necessary features. The camera was constructed of solid Spanish cedar wood which resembles mahogany, except the track bed was cherry wood for strength. The bellows were made of fine quality black keratol, gossamer lined. All metal parts were made of brass and nickel plated. Additional features included rack and pinion bed focusing with controls on the back, a rack and pinion rising and falling front, a reversible back with spring actuated focusing screen, the conley flexible valve plate holder, and detachable lens board. Optionally available with the Conley three focus rapid rectilinear lens with the Conley safety shutter. It was available in 5 x 7; 6 1/8 x 8 1/2 and 8 x 10 inch sizes.
