The Archer Combined Hand or Stand Camera

datasheet_loginThe Archer, combined hand or stand camera was manufactured by Archer & Sons, manufacturing opticians of Liverpool, England from approximately 1894 to 1902. The Archer was designed to be operated either as a hand or stand camera. The Double extension leather bellows extends twelve inches via a side actuated rack and pinion for focusing. The front features rising and falling adjustments. The double swing back is reversible working from the center. The camera is fitted with a revolving head in the baseboard for tripod, as well as finder and focusing index. A celluloid focusing screen is also fitted to the camera. The lens and shutter are sold separately and any combination can be found.
