The Goerz Tenax Camera was manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works company in chirca 1908 launching the line of Tenax cameras. Designed as the most compact camera possible with the depth of the camera not being much more than the lens. It was constructed of metal with nickel finished or black enamel hardware. The camera has an automatic opening feature where once the button is pushed the front to drop down and the front to spring out which is then automatically locked into infinity position. Typically fitted with the Goerz Syntor f6.8 lens and an automatic shutter working from one second to 1/200 of a second with bulb and time exposures. The quarter plate version was priced at £8 8s in 1908.
