The Goerz Taro Tenax Camera was manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works company from approximately 1910 to 1926. It was made in three sizes, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch, a 10 x 15 centimeter (postcard)and 5 x 7 inch size and capable of exposing plates or daylight loading film packs. Taro Tenax Cameras were constructed of a single sheet of hard aluminum alloy, and covered with medium grain morocco leather. The inside metal was coated with black enamel and the hardware fittings finished in nickel. Features included a double extension bellows, rising front, rack and pinion focusing, brillinat finder, level, focusing screen with hood and black leather bellows. Six different lens were available and two different shutters, providing for a wide range of features and costs.
