  Stereo Pocket Tenax Camera

The Stereo Pocket Tenax Camera was manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works company from approximately 1912 to 1925. This miniature stereoscopic camera takes plates 1 3/4 x 4 3/16 inch (45 x 107mm) exposures. The camera opens automatically by pressing two buttons and is held in place by steel struts. Focusing is adjusted by a dial for distances from 1 1/2 yards and upward. Features include a direct view finder and a compound shutter which provides a wide range of of speeds up to 1/250 of a second. The camera measures 1 1/8 x 2 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches and weighs about 18 ounces. Lens options include two matched pairs of Goerz Dogmar f4.5 or two matched pairs of Goerz Double Anastigmat Dagors, or two matched pairs of Goerz Double Anastigmat Syntor f6.3 lenses.
