Anschutz Instantaneous Camera

The Anschutz Instantaneous Camera was manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works company in circa 1892. It was constructed of a solid wood body and fitted with a five inch Goerz rectilinear lens. It featured rack and pinion focus adjustment and rear focusing ground glass covered with a collapsible focusing hood. The rear curtain shutter located directly in front of the plate provides speeds of 1/75 of a second to 1/1200 of a second and operated by a thumb screw. It also has a square frame, eye-level view finder.
