  Goerz Insuperabilis Camera

The Goerz Insuperabilis Camera was manufactured by the C. P. Goerz Optical Works company in circa 1909. This camera was also referred to as the Universal-Reise-Camera Insuperabilis. Constructed of mahogany with nickel finsihed hardware and a black bellows. The Insuperabilis camera was made in multiple sizes, 9 x 12 cm, 13 x 18 cm, 18 x 24 cm, 24 x 30 cm, 30 x 40 cm, and 40 x 50 cm. The front standard was wide enough to accomodate stereo work and a detachable septum was available for the 13 x 18 and 18 x 24 cm sizes. Fitted with mainly a Goerz celor f4.8 or a Dagor 6.8, Pantar Satzoebjectiv, syntor f6.7or a wide angle Hypergon.
