  Indento Camera

The Indento camera was manufactured by Adams & Co. of London from approximately 1904 to 1910. Advertised as unsurpassable and incomparable. This camera featured a collapsible design with supporting side panels wend extended. The lens, shutter and finder are all self contained and protected when closed. The lens is a Ross Homocentric F6.8 or Zeiss protarf6.3. The shutter is built in with diaphragm and speeds from 1/2 second to 1/100 of a second accurately regulated by air in a metal tube, with time exposures. The Adams self-capping focal plane shutter can also be fitted to the camera. The finder was the patent indentoscope providing true view even with rising front, also swing front. two tripod sockets built in. the Indento came in many sizes including, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4, 5 x 4, 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 (PC), and 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches. Pricing ranged from 12 15 6 to 18 18 0 (GBP).
