  Adams Hand Camera

The Adams Hand Camera was manufactured by the Adams & Co. of London from approximately 1891 to 1896. Capable of taking 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch or 5 x 4 inch exposures on plates, Eastman's roll holder or cut films. The lens was a Ross Rapid Symmetrical F8 in a special mount capable of focusing from two yards to infinity. The shutter was made of metal with time and instantaneous settings with iris stops. It has rising and shifting front and double swing back. Two tripod bushes and screws are provided for tripod work. The detachable changing box holds twelve plates and is fitted with an exposed plate indicator. Priced at 15/- and 18/- respectively.
