The Signet camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak company from 1951 to 1962. Capable of capturing 20 or 36 images, 1 x 1 /2 inch size on 35 mm film camera. Constructed of a die cast aluminum body covered in black Kodadur covering and finished in brushed metal trim. Various models were produced including the Signet 30, 35, 40, 50, and 80. View finder and coupled range finder are combined in a single viewing window for fast precise focusing and framing. Fitted with an Ektar 44mm coated lens f/3.5 and a Synchro 300 with four speeds from 1/25 of a second to 1/300 of a second, plus synchronized flash. The camera measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/8 x 2 1/2 inches. Priced at $75.00 in 1956.
