Adams Challenge camera was manufactured by Adams & Company of London England from approximately 1892 to 1932. Constructed of the finest Spanish mahogany with brass hardware. Features included a square leather bellows with reversible back for horizontal and vertical pictures, a rising and falling front, double swing backs, Long and short extension with rear rack and pinion focusing. Available in four sizes, 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches, half plate, 12 x 10 inches, and 15 x 12 inches. Prices ranged from £21 to £46.
