The Sketch Box Camera was manufactured by the W. Butcher & Sons Ltd. company in circa 1903. Designed with many others of that time period as an in expensive plate camera. Constructed of wood and covered in black leatherette with a solid leather handle. It featured an everset instantaneous shutter. Two finders. Capable of taking six plates or twelve cut films on quarter plates (4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. Originally priced at 5s 6p.
