  Selfix-Cameo Camera

The Selfix-Cameo Camera was introduced by the W. Butcher & Sons Ltd. company in 1908. Designed as a compact folding camera that automatically opens itself to fixed focus and locks into position. Further focus adjustment is possible through a conveniently placed cam-lever and an additional one is provided to raise and lower the front. Available in quarter plate and post card sizes. Typically fitted with a Beck Symmetrical lens, however a Cooke series III and a Goerz series III were also available.
