The Primus No. 3 Camera was manufactured by the W. Butcher & Sons in circa 1896. constructed of polished mahogany, covered in leather with a leather bellows and brass hardware. The ground glass is covered by a hooded panel to reduce light when focusing the image. Available in quarter plate selling for £4 15s, or 5 x 4 inches selling for £6 and half plate size priced at £7 7s.
