datasheet_loginThe National Camera was manufactured by the W. Butcher & Sons company from approximately 1902 well into the 1920s. The camera is constructed of polished mahogany with a black leather bellows and polished and lacquered hardware. Features included a reversing and swing back, universal rising, falling and swing front, and single, double or triple extension with rack and pinion adjustment based on model. Fitted with a swift time and instantaneous roller blind shutter with speed indicator and pneumatic release. A Beck symmetrical lens was standard, and a Rapid rectilinear was optional. Available in quarter plate, half plate, whole plate, 8 x 10 inch, 11 x 10 inch and 15 x 12 inch. It was also available in a teak wood to accommodate tropical climates.
