Duplex Double Extension Reflex Camera

datasheet_loginThe Duplex Reflex Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company from approximately 1918 to 1939. Constructed of mahogany throughout and covered in seal grain morocco leather. All metal fittings were black oxidized, enameled or plated and the back is black ebonized wood. Features included rack and pinion focusing, rising and falling front, automatic lazy tong lattice providing extreme rigidity in all positions, focusing hood made of stiffened leather, revolving back, reflecting mirror. Fitted with a Ruby Focal Plane shutter for instantaneous exposures from 1/10 to 1/1000 of a second. A time exposure valve was available with the focusing hood closed which provided automatic exposures of 1/4 to 3 seconds. Various lens and sizes were available.
