datasheet_loginThe College Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1910. Designed as a serviceable and efficient camera at a moderate price. Constructed of polished mahogany with machine-finished brass fittings and brass turntable. Features include a extremely long extension, with extending and swinging front, double stretchers to camera back and front, brass lined fork, rising and falling front, rack and pinion focusing, and reversible back. Fitted with a Thornton-Pickard Rectoplanat lens with iris diaphragms and a Thornton-Pickard time and instantaneous shutter capable of speeds from 1/15 to 1/90 of a second and time exposures. Available in quarter plate, half plate, 7 x 5 inches and whole plate.
