  Snap Shot Camera

The Snap Shot Camera was manufactured by J. Lancaster & Son, Opticians company from 1890 to approximately 1894. Designed as as very compact camera when folded up as the front recessed into base and the lens did not extend to further minimize the width to one inch and weighing only one pound. Available in quarter plate, originally priced at £2 2s and in and half plate size originally priced at £4 4s.
