Perfect Omnigraph Camera

datasheet_loginThe Perfect Omnigraph Camera was manufactured by the J. Lancaster & Son Ltd company from at least 1896 to 1900. Records indicate two versions were produced during the same period, a model 388 and 389. It seems they can be easily distinguished by the lens cover, the 388 version opens like a door and the 389 version slides to the left. Both covered in quality leather, instantaneous lens, with iris diaphragm and see-saw shutter, two finders, rack adjustment, divided scale. Capable of carrying three patent double metal slides carrying six plates or films. Model 388 was available in quarter plate, 5 x 4, and half plate. Model 389 was only available in quarter plate and half plate. Both cameras were equally priced from £2 2 0 to £4 4 0.
