Victoria Four-Tube Camera by American Optical

The Victoria Four-Tube Camera was manufactured by the American Optical Company from the 1880s. Designed to accommodate the new size of picture called the Victoria in America, the Format in Prussia, and the Elizabeth in Austria. Constructed similar to the imperial camera and adapting to the smaller size. It works on a 5 x 7 plate and may be used to make two Victoria cards using one tube. It can produce 4 carte-de-vista using 1/4 tubes. 4 1/4 lens were sold with the camera as standard equipment. Priced at $44.00.
