Minimum Cameo Camera

The Minimum Cameo Cameras were manufactured by W. Butcher & Sons in circa 1908. Designed as a high quality compact camera. Features include an all metal rising, falling and cross movement front, a rack and pinion focusing (except model No. 1 in the 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch size), shutters with a full range of speeds and finders with spirit levels attached. Two models were made a No. 1 and No. 2 and each available with either a Beck Symmetrical or a Rapid Aplanat. No.1 was available in 3 1/2 x 2 1/2; 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches (quarter plate size). The No. 2 was available in the same sizes as the No. 1 with the addition of a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch size (half plate).
