Mandel Photo Postcard machine

The Mandel Photo Postcard machine was manufactured by the Chicago Ferrotype company from 1911 to 1930. The Mandel Photo Post Card Machine was designed as a street camera for individual business opportunities. It was capable of taking photos directly onto -super speed- paper using a direct-positive process. This process required no films, plates nor post processing dark room printing to develop five different styles of photos. The entire process of developing the photo was finished right in the machine. It was able to make button photo in addition to post card photos at a rate of three per minute.
