Adlake Repeater Camera

The Adlake Repeater Camera was manufactured by The Adams and Westlake company of Chicago, Illinois from 1897 to approximate 1920. Advertised as rapid action magazine camera taking twelve exposures in ten seconds. This camera was fitted with a single achromatic lens and a new Adlake metal shutter with four stops.The exposure register is self locking preventing more than one plate leaving the magazine at a time. Two finders are provided for portrait or landscape work and two accompanying tripod sockets. Covered in Seal Grain leather. Originally priced at $5.50 for the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch size and $8.00 for a 4 x 5 inch size.
